Bedroom available April 1 (or possibly sooner) in 3BR Williamsburg loft. Our current roommate is moving back to his homeland of Canada, so we’re looking for a clean/tidy new roommate who’s laid-back and easy to get along with.

The Room: $725/month + utilities (about $60/month). The room is quaint (6 1/2 X 11 1/2), has a built in clothes-hanging rack and shelving, and gets natural light via an interior window.

The Apartment: Loft-style with high ceilings, exposed brick, wooden beams, pretty much equidistant to Bedford L stop & Marcy Ave stop on J,M,Z, and 2 blocks from the B61/B62 bus stop (which takes you direct to the L), full roof access with view of the Williamsburg Bridge and Manhattan skyline. Two blocks from the Bedford strip, six blocks from the Wiliamsburg Bridge, close proximity to the new East River State Park (where the McCarren Pool Parties/Concerts have moved to) and a 12-minute walk to McCarren Park.

The Roommates: We both work quite a bit during the week, but we’re still pretty social - especially on the weekends - and like to have a good time.

(1) Female, 24 y.o. Web producer, likes tea and watching movies.

(2) Male (gay), 25 y.o., works in corporate communications/public affairs, likes Diet Coke and gluten-free goodies.

Friends, sorry to clutter your dashboard with this, but a roommate that had been lined up for several days has backed out.

So… live in my girlfriend’s beautiful and huge apartment, only two blocks from the N/W trains! This is ideally for a March 1 move-in, but negotiable.

it is with much sorrow that i’m leaving my beautiful Astoria apartment! I’ve lived here for 2+ years and have enjoyed every moment.

The Neighborhood - AMAZING! Every amenity is around the corner, laundry, bars, restaurants, gyms, nail salons etc. Also the best bagel shop in the world and the best greek food you’ve ever had in your life. The lovely Astoria Park is a short walk away, and it’s truly beautiful with stunning views of the East River. The nearest subway is the N/W at Ditmars (3 short blocks away) and it takes about 15 minutes to get to midtown manhattan.

The Roomies - Two fun, polite and respectful girls in their mid-twenties who work in Event Planning and Television.

The Apartment - 3 bedrooms, the room that would be yours is the largest of the three and located in the front of the apartment overlooking a lovely tree-lined street. The room has two huge windows and hardwood floors. The room doesn’t have a closet, but i will be leaving my large Ikea cherrywood wardrobe if you’d like to keep it! There are also 2 hallway closets for you to use. I have a TON of clothing/shoes and i’ve always had more than enough space! You will also have full use of a shared kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining area.

Cable and Internet are split three ways.

It’s truly a special place and the price is great for the area!

Hey NYCers,

My friend is performing This Thursday at the 1 year anniversary of a bar. Talib Kweli is performing also, as well as this awesome band from Miami.

They’re looking for someone to film it. No editing needed, just your own camera and the ability to send the file. they’ll post it on their websites (all their music sites) and the bar’s site.

No pay but unlimited free drinks and if you want, some great material for your reel, good exposure.

It’s in the LES, this thursday, from about 9:30 p.m. til about 1:30/2 a.m.
