Responsibilities include:
• Develop new agency/advertiser leads within key categories
• Cultivate relationships with leads sourced via marketing activities
• Present marketing ideas and technology capabilities to highlight the potential exposure of brand to clients and key decision makers
• Achieve quarterly sales growth
• Utilize internal sales platform to track/manage sales activity
• Update supervisor continuously on activity and solicit support as required
• Grow knowledge of industry and competition
About the Candidate:
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. The right candidate will be highly motivated, intelligent and be capable of functioning with little direct supervision. The candidate should have between 2 and 5 years of proven sales/business development experience in Internet media sales, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and will preferably come armed with a rolodex of contacts that can be called upon. Prior experience selling ad units to agencies and/or publishers is a major plus.
