Reminder: Big Apple BBQ - This Sunday

THIS SUNDAY!

  • Big Apple BBQ
  • Sunday, June 14th - 2:00 p.m. - until we can’t eat anymore
  • Meet @ 2:00 p.m. at Dewey’s Flatiron Lounge (across the street from the park, 5th avenue between 25th and 26th) so we can gather and walk over and claim some land.
  • Bring: quilts, blankets, wine concealed in squeeze bottles, a big appetite, cash money

If you can’t meet until later make sure you have one of our mobile #s so you can find us. We will be somewhere in Madison Square Park but it is going to be crowded.

Tonight at 6:30p starts round one of the NYC Summer Scrabble Leage. Head to Fat Cat Billiards (75 Christopher St.) due to never ending city rain. And don’t worry about bringing boards as they provide them. See you there!

This Saturday, a bunch of us are going to relive our collegiate years at the annual Big Apple Big Ten block party at the Six Point Brewery in Red Hook. It’s $25 all you can drink Six Point Beer. Ali has promised to drink us big ten alumni under the table (I know, impossible! East coast rules of drinking are pathetic!). It starts at 2pm, it’s going to be a beautiful day. If you would like to join us and make your liver wish you were never born, you can email me at feistyred at gmail dot com. Also you have to buy tickets online through paypal beforehand!

I’ll be doing stand-up this Saturday at Jamie Lee’s Diamonds in the Fluff (8pm at Karma - 51 1st Ave btwn 3rd and 4th St - link). Admission is a $10 donation to the Brooklyn Animal Rescue Coalition, and you’ll also get to see Baron Vaughn (who killed at CH Live last week) and Janeane Garofolo.

So come! It’ll be a good show for a great cause, and this is your last chance to see me and Janeane Garofolo on the same show until August.
