I just got an alert about a litter of SIX kittens and their feral mom, and the shelter that I work at is making a valiant attempt at saving the kittens (the mom is questionable, might be spayed and sent back into “the wild”).
What they need are foster parents for the kittens, who are about 7 weeks old. Thus, they should be past the tough bottle-feeding stage and hopefully able to adjust to having a litter box in no time. As they don’t expect one person to take on all six, they’re separating the kittens into pairs, and that person will be responsible for the day-to-day, perhaps posting ads on craigslist and petfinder, and transfer to adoption. Of course, if you’re really in the mood for kittens, you can probably just adopt right away!
If you’re interested, contact me (fatmanatee45@gmail.com), and I will get you in touch with the people in charge. Thanks!
